Sometimes I Seem Silly

Somebody sat in my soup
somebody sat in my stew
A sick sad story
a stupid song
and very soon I shall sue.

Sorry said Sally to Susan
Sorry said Sammy to Sue
We slipped somehow
and slid on the sow
into your soup and stew...

Lol, lol. Yes, sometimes you do seem silly. That is probably one of the silliest things I've ever read. Quite cute tho.

What makes a good writer?

I think I'm a good writer.. maybe not. But in my mind I am and that's what counts. We each need to be satisfied with our work.. I am satisfied. One more thing I think makes for a good writer and that is to be believeable. If you take a subject, any topic at all and write a poem or short story using that topic and people believe it actually happened, then you are a good writer.

I haven't written anything new for a long time. I'm hoping by posting these writings, my muse might reappear. Wouldn't that be loverly?

About this blog

I have written over the years, tons of poetry. Some good. Some not so good and some absolutely horrible. Funny thing about what I write. It's changeable. Like today a poem may be really good and several days later I may hate it. Same thing happens in reverse. Some of the more awful ones seem to be fairly good now. Can it be the poem changes or maybe I change? I do think we are in a state of continual change. Is it evolution? Maybe metamorphisis..? Maybe it's just regular aging. Maybe it's none of the above. Maybe it's the magnetic forces at work. Do you believe you can actually change what goes on in your life by thoughtwaves? I don't know... I simply don't know.
