Diet time... sung to "Crying Time"

Oh it’s diet time again
I’m getting fatter
I can see it in the form
of midriff bulge.
I can tell by the way
my pants are tighter
that it won’t be long
before it’s diet time.
Oh they say that dieting
makes the heart grow stronger
and I guess it’s happened
many times before
But why with me
does everything take longer
I’m so fat I can’t get
through the kitchen door.

I can by the scales going high
and I know by the jeering and the laughter
